storm clouds on your face
make me sad too
so i reach for a ray of sun in the sky
and clip a stalk to give to you
your fingers wrap around it
the glow lights up your face
you are luminous
the storm is gone without a trace
but i stared at the sun for too long
and for a moment i went blind
i forgot how fast light travels
you were gone when i regained my sight
