for so long, i've been trying to fly solo that by now i'm used to it growing my bones hollow
sometimes i have to crawl to dodge the guns loaded with ammo i'm afraid of bringing someone with me
i don't want them to stoop so low
but even though i tell myself
that i need to do this alone
it never does help explain
why i feel so low
